Dr. Julie Dudak
DVM / Owner
Hi, I’m Dr. Julie Dudak! I was raised in the Raleigh/Durham area, where I began working in the veterinary field at the age of 14. I graduated from NC State University with my Bachelor’s degree in Zoology. Subsequently, I moved to Michigan and obtained my Master’s degree in Biology with a Physiology concentration. My veterinary degree was earned from Colorado State University. Following graduation, I sought advanced training and completed a medical and surgical internship at Carolina Veterinary Specialists in Greensboro. Since then, I have been working as an associate veterinarian in the Triad. In 2013, I founded the Veterinary Hospital of Oak Ridge. Thank you for coming to our clinic; I look forward to caring for your pets.
Beth
Practice Manager
I came to the Veterinary Hospital of Oak Ridge in 2016 with 14 years of experience in the field. I worked as a kennel assistant, veterinary assistant, receptionist, and technician, before finding that my passion was clinic management. I graduated from UNCG in 2006 and am currently studying to sit for my CVPM (certified veterinary practice manager) exam. My husband and I love to spend time with our four legged child Bella at the dog park, but since our son’s arrival in 2020, she has found that her live-in playmate is now just as exciting!

I have worked at VHOR since 2021, and l have loved every minute of it. This was my first job in the veterinary field, and I have learned so much from everyone in the hospital. You can find me with my fantastic dog, Koda, and sometimes he may greet you from behind the front desk! Outside of work, I usually spend time with family, enjoy the outdoors, or go on trips.
I’m looking forward to all the future memories here!

Veterinary Assistant
I started at VHOR in 2021, with four years of experience. I have a passion for helping all animals, through years of foster and rescue and working with various charitable organizations in North Carolina. I can often be found nursing kittens and wildlife back to health both at the Veterinary Hospital of Oak Ridge and at home. My most recent canine adoptee is ChiChi, a 17-year-old chihuahua, who has found himself right at home with my senior beagle Lucy who I adopted in 2021. They both have learned to give room to their feline siblings Bobby, Chili, Fluffers, Nippet, Nugget, and Shadow. I can also be found in my time off exploring with my husband and kids.

Veterinary Assistant
I came to the Veterinary Hospital of Oak Ridge in May of 2023. I had worked in the Veterinary field for four years, starting as a Kennel Tech and working my way up to Veterinary Assistant before coming to VHOR. I love working with all animals and have always been passionate about them as a child. I have several of my babies at home: 4 cats (Lammy, Panther, Raven, and Simba), two dogs (Sadie and Cloud), a guinea pig (Pooh Bear), and a Bearded Dragon (Bulbasaur).
I look forward to growing with VHOR and learning new things every day.

I am a happy and caring person. I look forward to greeting and compassionately caring for our wonderful patients. Originally from South Carolina, I enjoy meeting all the pets and people at the Veterinary Hospital of Oak Ridge. I rescued two gray female cats from the animal shelter, Jessie and Cassie when they were 14 weeks old in 2011. I enjoy playing online video games with my husband and son in my free time. I also enjoy going to Anime and Comic book conventions.
Janaia

I am from Atlanta, Georgia, and am currently a Senior Animal Science major at North Carolina A&T State University. My long-term goals in veterinary medicine range from gaining knowledge and experience around surgical procedures through pharmaceutical administration. I am committed to the health and welfare of all animals, have plans to complete veterinary medical school, and ultimately establish my own mixed animal practice one day. I am very excited to join and contribute to the VHOR family.

In Memory Of Big Head Ed, CEO
Ed was a stray who was taken in by one of Dr. Dudak’s friends. When Dr. Dudak opened VHOR, her friend asked if she would be willing to take Ed. Already knowing Ed Wood, Dr. Dudak literally jumped at the chance to share her life with this amazing boy. He made such and impact on everyone’s lives and his memory will live with clients and employees who were fortunate enough to have met him.
